Specialist Global QA Data Governance

About the role:

In this role, you will help ensure the effective and compliant use of SAP Quality processes that support BioNTech’s commercial activities. As the SAP Quality Key User, you will provide specialist expertise, support and training to end users, coordinate user acceptance testing, and act as a key link between Quality functions and SAP IT. 


 
Your Contribution:

  • You will serve as the SAP Quality Key User, providing subject matter expertise on SAP Quality processes and Quality master data. As a first point of contact for business users, you will help resolve questions and promote effective system use.
  • You will support reliable data quality and governance for commercial operations, facilitate Master Data Uploads in electronic systems like SAP and Veeva and act as Data Steward for Quality Master Data.
  • You will develop, maintain and deliver SAP Quality training and user guidance. By supporting users across the organization, you will help ensure consistent process execution, strong system adoption and the capabilities needed to use the system effectively.
  • You will coordinate and carry out user acceptance testing for system changes and enhancements. This includes preparing and documenting test activities, supporting the resolution of issues and confirming that business requirements are met before changes are deployed.
  • You will act as the interface between Quality stakeholders, Business Process Owners and SAP IT. By facilitating communication, clarifying requirements and coordinating issue management, you will help drive the implementation of system improvements.

 

A Good Match:

  • You hold a degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent industrial qualification and experience.
  • You have at least three years of experience in Quality Assurance and a strong background in computerized system projects.
  • You are well-versed in pharmaceutical compliance regulations and understand how to apply them in a system and process context.
  • You communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and are comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
  • You are detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong ability to create and manage quality-related documentation effectively.
  • You are fluent in English, and proficiency in German is considered a plus.
