About the Role:
As a Product Owner (m/w/d) for ERP Data Migration, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how data drives innovation at BioNTech. You will lead the strategy and execution of data migration initiatives across our global ERP landscape. Your work will ensure high-quality, compliant, and business-ready data at every stage of transformation, directly contributing to the success of our enterprise systems and business processes.
Your Contribution:
- Define and own the product vision: Establish and execute the roadmap for ERP data migration aligned with global ERP and business strategy
- Lead end-to-end migration delivery: Oversee the lifecycle from data discovery to transformation, validation, loading, reconciliation, and cutover planning to ensure smooth transitions
- Manage complex dependencies: Analyze, structure, and sequence interdependencies across key business objects (e.g., Business Partner, Material, Finance)
- Ensure compliance and governance: Align all migration activities with enterprise data governance standards and regulatory requirements such as GxP/SOX
- Collaborate across teams: Act as a strategic connector between business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and external partners to ensure aligned delivery
- Leverage innovative tools: Optimize tools like Syniti ADMM and Migration Cockpit to enhance efficiency, data quality, and overall project outcomes
A Good Match:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration/Data Management with leadership responsibilities
- Expertise across the entire migration lifecycle: object dependencies, mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, cutover planning, mock runs, and go-live execution
- Familiarity with tools like Syniti ADMM or SAP Data Services; experience in large-scale S/4HANA or ERP transformation programs is highly valued
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to align cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GxP/SOX) is an advantage
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus
