Your main responsibilities are:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
SAP Financial Master Data Management
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and governance of financial master data in SAP, including company codes, chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, vendor and customer master data, with a focus on pharmaceutical industry compliance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with both global finance policies and local regulatory requirements, including GxP and data integrity standards.
- Evaluate and process master data requests from business units, ensuring alignment with standard definitions, governance rules, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Drive the optimization, standardization, and automation of master data processes, supporting digital transformation initiatives.
SAP Go-Live & Project Support
- Serve as a key finance representative in SAP implementation and go-live projects, ensuring readiness of master data and supporting cutover activities.
- Coordinate data migration, validation, and reconciliation efforts during SAP go-live, collaborating closely with IT, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Provide expert support in SAP system upgrades, financial module enhancements, and ongoing system integration projects.
Data Quality, Audit & Compliance
- Conduct regular data quality checks, cleansing, and root cause analysis to identify and correct errors or redundancies.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting by preparing and explaining relevant master data.
- Maintain documentation and evidence for regulatory inspections and audits (e.g., GMP, GSP).
Training & Stakeholder Engagement
- Deliver training and documentation to end-users on master data processes and standards, enhancing data literacy across departments.
- Act as a liaison between IT, Finance, QA, and business teams to ensure proper integration and application of master data across systems.
A good match:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Information Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP financial master data management, with at least 1 full-cycle SAP go-live in a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
- Familiarity with SAP FICO module and pharmaceutical industry regulatory requirements (GxP, SOX, data integrity).
- Strong understanding of financial processes, master data standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills, especially in written and reading comprehension.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong in planning; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and ensure high-quality execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset for continuous improvement, and experience supporting audits or regulatory inspections.
- Experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation during SAP implementation is highly preferred.
