Position Summary:
The BioNTech Compliance & Business Ethics department is expanding with the increasingly international and global growth of the company. We are now searching a dedicated compliance professional that is eager to support the implementation of the global Compliance & Business Ethics program in BioNTech’s Chinese affiliates. Our Compliance & Business Ethics program comprises typical compliance topics such as anti-corruption, transparency requirements with respect to interactions with healthcare professionals, conflict of interests but also topics such as internal fraud and engagement of external personnel. We are committed to being a productive, open-minded and service-oriented partner to our business and always aim to further improve our compliance processes to become even more efficient and easy to understand.
This position is responsible for providing E&C support to BNT China to drive the integration of high performance with high integrity. This position also supports key compliance programs, such as annual risk assessment, conducting DD Screenings, Expense Review. This role will work closely with business functions to proactively manage risks and ensure compliance. The role will report to Senior Director, Business Ethics and Compliance, China
Your main responsibilities are:
- Support implementation of global Compliance policies, standards and procedures in BioNTech local entities in China
- Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
- Act as a Compliance consultant to the business and advise on specific Compliance related topics and questions
- Support the DD process in China
- Responsible for expense review from Compliance perspective
- Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews
What you have to offer:
- Academic degree in law, Accounting, business administration, or similar
- Min 5 years’ experience in Compliance, ideally in pharmaceutical / life science industry
- High learning agility and great team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent proficiency Mandarin and English
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Thorough understanding of industry standards (IFPMA Code, PDPAC Code, etc.)
- Robust project management skills
- International/global work experience
- Strong understanding of multinational, corporate structures
