Position Summary:
- The Regional Logistics Operations Lead drives the regional organizational development and execution of logistics activities across order management, transportation, warehousing, customs, and compliance, for clinical and commercial products.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, and develop the regional logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support building structures and capabilities and managing cross functional relationships (25%)
- Strategy Execution & Alignment: Support the definition of supply chain and logistics strategies, strategic decision-making and their ensure their regional execution in alignment with other functions (25%)
- Cost & Performance Management: Monitor and control logistics performance and costs, ensuring adherence to budgets, KPIs, and service levels across internal operations and external logistics providers (20%)
- Continuous Improvement & ensure operational issue resolution: Ensure realization of regional continuous improvement initiatives, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of structural or operational challenges across stakeholders (15%)
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure logistics operations meet local regulatory, customs, and GxP requirements, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance (15%)
What you have to offer:

Over 10 years of supply chain / logistics experience – preferred in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 10 years as senior management position (e.g., senior manager, director) in the supply chain / logistics department, with rich team management experience

Have a deep understanding of logistics strategies, concepts and logistics operations including warehousing and transportation

Has extensive experience in leading the team to successfully setup the regional logistics structures, deliver the logistics operations and establish the required standards jointly with the global and regional teams

Excellent leadership, decision-making and communication skills to motivate teams and effectively drive projects across departments

Excellent ability to analyze and solve complex problems

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong customer-focused mind-set

Fluent in reading and writing in English; using English as a working language
