About the Role:
As an MSAT Supervisor in Downstream Processing, you will play a critical role in supporting tech transfer, process validation, and optimization for biopharmaceutical production. You will act as the process owner during the PPQ stage and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to BioNTech’s innovative therapies while strengthening downstream technical capabilities within the MSAT team.

Your Contribution:

• Apply expertise in facilities, process flow, tech transfer, and Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) to support manufacturing operations
• Manage daily manufacturing activities, including deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, change control, and drafting/approval of technical plans and reports
• Act as the process owner during the PPQ stage and support continuous process optimization and validation efforts
• Contribute to cross-border tech transfers to various CDMOs or production sites
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth project execution according to timelines and quality standards
• Support downstream talent development initiatives within the MSAT team

A Good Match:

• Familiarity with GMP production processes, with hands-on experience in tech transfer and process validation
• Demonstrated experience in MSAT or Process Development (PD) within biopharmaceuticals
• Ability to read and write technical documents fluently in both Chinese and English
• Basic proficiency in English communication for effective teamwork across global teams
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing complex tasks efficiently
• A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
