Director* Strategy & Alliance 

As part of our Strategy and Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for generating overall strategy for BioNabler unit and executing alliances in line with BioNTech corporate and BioNabler strategy.

Your main responsibilities are: 

• Identify and understand customer and market requirements as well as evaluate these in terms of fit for BioNAbler strategy for Australia/New Zealand/Pacific Islands. 
• Shape corporate strategy in collaboration with internal and external partners. As an interface to external partners (e.g. governmental bodies, academic institutes, health care and regulatory authorities and related technical organs), implement, manage, and control the corporate strategy in short-term/ long-ter.
• Manage relationships and collaborate closely with government of Australia, scientists and industrial partners as well as with internal stakeholders at BioNTech to build an mRNA industry in Australia. 
• Develop innovative ideas and new business models to extend and achieve implementation of BioNTech’s strategy in Australia.
• Create scenario analysis and set up processes and structures to implement next components and tools in Australia. 
• Steer and consult on go-to-market strategy work streams for business units in a matrix organization.

 
What you have to offer: 

• Master’s degree in science or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strategy / Corporate Development Expert or Consultant with overall 3+ years’ experience in strategy consulting .
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
• Previous working experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Ability to shape corporation or industry, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and influence decision makers.
• Strong stakeholder relation management skills.
• Clear presentation skills.
• Strong team player, yet willing to take on responsibilities and drive strategy frame work forward. 
• Strong international business acumen with the ability to successfully align generated data with the strategic and practical demands of the business. 
• Familiar with governmental processes, needs and thinking, and knowledge of academic interests.
• Strong analytical skills (e.g. Scenario analysis, multi-criteria decision analysis).
• Contributes with innovative ideas to develop new strategies that advance the entire corporation.
• An ability to see opportunities and possibilities where others see barriers and constraints.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and high curiosity.
• High level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and material preparation skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize
