Vice President* Global Systems Quality
VP* Global Systems Quality
As VP* Global Systems Quality, you work collaboratively across the organization to achieve GxP compliance and quality excellence. This position is overseeing the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the global Quality system in the BioNTech network. The global functions contain the quality management system, implementation and QA oversight of validation of computerized systems and supplier qualification. The role requires the capability to work with international stakeholders from departments inside and outside of Quality.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Develop and implement strategic quality systems decisions
- Liaise with local Quality Leads and take part in activities of global Quality leadership team
- Ultimate accountability for the global topics: Supplier Qualification, Validation of Electronic Systems, Quality Management Systems and Quality Compliance
- Guide and develop a diverse high-performance Global Systems Quality Organization
- Enabling a constructive and sustainable “One Quality” mindset, fostering an open and collaborative environment for continuous Quality improvement within the organization
What you have to offer:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and visionary individual, ideally with the following characteristics:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and lead international teams
- +15 years significative experience of practical experience in managing a quality unit in small and larger biotech environment
- Experience in pragmatic implementation of global GMP requirements
- Strong moderator skills, like active listening, flexibility and problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze, plan and manage in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be agile and effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or comparable
