About the Role:
Manage and optimize raw material, intermediate, and finished product flows within a highly regulated pharmaceutical supply chain. In this role, you will ensure logistics processes meet strict compliance, quality, and safety standards while driving efficiency and alignment with financial operations.
You will play a key part in deploying innovative supply chain concepts, managing logistics networks across global sites, and maintaining adherence to pharmaceutical regulations for warehouse and transportation requirements.
Your Contribution:
- Implement and control raw material, intermediate, and finished product flows across multiple sites and contract manufacturing organizations (e.g., China-Europe), adhering to regulatory requirements
- Align logistics and financial flows ensuring full transparency and compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards (GxP, GDP)
- Deploy supply chain concepts such as Just in Time (JIT), Just in Sequence (JIS), and Milkrun under regulatory constraints
- Support logistics network strategy projects focused on compliant footprint design and optimal material management
- Define process frameworks addressing inbound/outbound logistics, cross docking, consolidation/deconsolidation, returns, cold chain handling, and controlled substances in accordance with pharma regulations
- Evaluate risks related to logistics costs, regulatory compliance, and service levels across product lifecycle models
A Good Match:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing order and service provider logistics in regulated pharmaceutical environments
- Skilled in hub-and-spoke logistics and pharmaceutical distribution compliant with GxP, GDP,and regulations and proficient in integrating logistics IT systems
- Knowledgeable about regulatory aspects of 1PL to 5PL logistics models in pharma and financially literate in supply chain transactions and regulatory documentation
- Skilled in optimizing service levels and costs in regulated pharma distribution networks
- Strong problem-solving focus on regulatory compliance and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with emphasis on compliance and quality
