Our division is responsible for shaping and managing the company’s global communication strategy, building its reputation, and ensuring transparent, aligned messaging across all regions. We lead media relations, corporate storytelling, executive communications, external affairs and corporate identity.

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated professional to join the Corporate Events team. The Specialist Event Technology plays a key role in supporting floor operations, including the setup and management of technology solutions at events. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service to employees, clients, and external guests. Travel outside the assigned region is anticipated to be less than 20%.

We provide a variety of event formats to our employees, clients, and external guests, including live, digital, hybrid, and in-person events.

 

Your contribution:

 

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for live, digital, hybrid, and in-person events, handling technical and resource planning, time management, on-site and off-site event execution, and post-event project documentation (e.g., AMA sessions, video/audio podcasts, interviews, corporate films).
  • Assemble, set up, and dismantle video and technical event equipment.
  • Operate media and broadcast technology for events, studio productions, and TV productions.
  • Manage technical equipment and event setups at both internal and external event locations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, care, and repair of existing technology and equipment.
  • Act as the central contact person to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Provide customer care and communication for national and international clients/events.
  • Support small technical projects and conference equipment setups.
  • Act as a liaison between teams involved in event planning and technical construction.
  • Serve as an internal link between departments involved in event execution.
  • Continuously develop technical skills in areas such as audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

A good match:

 

  • Completed apprenticeship as a specialist in event technology (event technician/media technician) or several years of professional experience in the event industry.
  • Alternatively, a state-recognized degree in media technology, event technology, or a comparable qualification from a certified educational institution (e.g., SAE Institute).
  • Strong knowledge of audio and video technology, including tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Suite, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, OBS, Audacity, and video/audio podcasting platforms.
  • Experience with LED video technology and LED controllers is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of media, IT, and network technology.
  • Additional qualification as an electrician for portable equipment is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in managing hybrid events is ideal.
  • Familiarity with lighting systems is a plus.
  • High willingness to learn and implement new software systems or technical tools.
  • Ability to work independently, with a results-oriented and structured approach.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
  • Confident and professional demeanor, with sensitivity in interactions with employees and external participants.
  • Commitment to high-quality standards and strong service orientation.
  • Resilience and ability to perform under pressure in stressful situations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Flexibility for event-related early shifts or irregular working hours during special projects.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) and possession of a valid Class B driver’s license.
