Senior Director* Lifecycle Management 

 

As Senior Director* Life Cycle Management you are responsible to design the operating model of the lifecycle organization within our organization. Within this important position, you will work closely together with other departments to identify pre-clinical product candidates and define product supply product lifecycle strategies.
 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Design the operating model of the lifecycle organization in close alignment with critical partners of our internal and external network
  • Define talent strategy for Product Owner and Product Teams (e.g., defining career paths)
  • Develop and continuously improve standards to harmonize the production and lifecycle management of different products (e.g. establish COGS roadmaps and product supply strategy, define CMC team collaboration during commercial life cycle)
  • Lead Product Supply product owners to enable day 1 launch supply, define long term supply strategy and establish COGS roadmaps (in collaboration with finance)
  • Develop critical skills and manage performance of product owners
  • Facilitate exchange of knowledge and lessons learnt across product owners and teams

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and visionary individual, ideally with the following characteristics:

 

  • Business degree (Master/Diploma), preferably in biology, chemistry, physics, Life Sciences or business administration 
  • At least 10+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries within quality, production, supply chain, project management or other functions 
  • Experience in product launch supply
  • Proven experience in the management of large, complex technical projects or collaborations in the pharmaceutical industry 
  • Solid experience to develop strategic plans in support of organizational goals and strategic initiatives
  • Proven track record as team leader with strong leadership skills
  • Experience in building a team with clear roles & responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others internally and externally
  • Ability to communicate clear and target-oriented with internal stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • Very strong collaboration, team- and alignment-building skills 
  • Ability to effectively manage senior level relationships across and outside the company 
  • Fine combination of strategic and operational/hands-on ability 
  • Creative, “out of the box” thinker
  • Highly motivated, flexible, creative and well-organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial and intercultural mindset with strong project management skills 
  • Highly experienced in leading cross-functional international teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly agile and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English and German
