Reporting Line: Executive Director Global Finance and Transformation

 

Your main responsibilitites are:
 

  • Spearhead financial transformation initiatives, emphasizing significant efficiency improvements and strategic realignment
  • Collaborate with executive management to identify and execute high-impact cost-saving measures and strategic initiatives, maximizing financial outcomes
  • Develop, validate, and oversee complex business cases in biotech R&D, product supply, and enabling functions, aligned with financial and strategic objectives
  • Lead strategic investment decisions and projects; contribute to value generation in acquisitions, divestments, and post-merger integration
  • Facilitate cooperation among senior internal stakeholders to drive impactful execution of transformation initiatives
  • Provide in-depth analysis and reports on the financial impacts of strategic initiatives to executive leadership
  • Innovate and implement cutting-edge best practices to enhance sustainable financial performance and operational excellence
  • Identify and implement high-value opportunities for business process optimization and automation
  • Provide strategic analysis and decision support, focusing on executive-level considerations

    What you have to offer: 
     
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification
  • 10+ years of diverse experience in business transformation, strategic consulting, corporate finance, or related areas within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Deep understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical value chain and strategic implications
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex transformation projects and high-impact cost-saving initiatives
  • Expertise in the processes and tools required for successful business transformation during implementation
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with a high capacity for implementation at the executive level
  • Superior communication skills with experience engaging senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
