About the Role:
As a key member of our Global Medical Affairs Oncology team, you will contribute significantly to the development and life cycle management of one of our innovative cancer therapies. Your role directly supports BioNTech’s mission to harness the power of science and technology to improve lives by accelerating clinical trials, advancing scientific knowledge, and transforming cancer care.
Working closely within a cross-functional team and collaborating with internal partners across R&D functions, you will help shape and implement Global Medical Affairs plans and initiatives. Your work will drive innovation in immuno-oncology, bringing meaningful advancements to patients worldwide.
Your Contribution:
- Support the acceleration of BioNTech's clinical trials by contributing medical expertise and strategic insights.
- Advance scientific knowledge by collaborating on publications and communicating data effectively.
- Educate healthcare professionals through clear dissemination of scientific information.
- Identify impactful medical insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform cancer care through innovative approaches in immuno-oncology.
A Good Match:
Education:
- Advanced science degree (MD or PhD) with specialization in oncology.
Experience:
- At least 10 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare industries or equivalent academic experience with proven results.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, including experience with Phase 1–3 trials.
- Minimum 3 years in global medical affairs strategic planning and execution.
- Expertise in business planning, leadership principles, and cross-functional team management.
Skills:
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
- High integrity, adaptability, and ability to thrive amidst shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in creating actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
