Your main responsibilities:

Following standard operating procedures (SOP), including detailed documentation of the steps taken in the provided documentation systems (electronic or paper based)

Comprehensive and independent experimental planning (planning, implementation, documentation, data analysis, initial interpretation)

Collection and proper storage of raw data
-
Documentation and reporting of deviations from the experimental plans, SOPs or process descriptions
-
Active support process improvements (e.g. communication of potential for improvement)
-
Assist in ordering, receiving and organizing materials and samples
-
Assist with qualification and maintenance of equipment and instruments
-
Responsible for cleanliness and order in the laboratory
-
Training new employees on current laboratory methods
-
Documentation of development results, preparatory documentation for method and device transfer as well as regular reporting of the results
What you have to offer:
-
Completed training for a medical technical assistant/laboratory assistant or comparable qualification; Alternatively, completed study in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology or comparable field

At least 3 years of professional experience in relevant field

Good knowledge of and experience with bioanalytical, molecular and cell biological methods

Next Generation sequencing experience will be an advantage

Good German and /or English skills
