Project Manager* CMC
As a Project Manager* in the CMC Project Management Team at BioNTech, you will be core-part of cross-functional project teams in a variety of CMC development/clinical stage projects focusing on our individualized cancer vaccine pipeline (IVAC). Your main responsibilities:
- Planning and coordination of projects (including definition of scope, tasks, work packages and deliverables) in a highly dynamic environment and a cross-functional project team structure
- Monitoring of project progress (incl. budget, timelines, quality, risk management)
- Establish and ensure efficient content and information flow between interdisciplinary teams incl. routine status reporting and project reviews to ensure that project goals meet company’s vision and strategy
- Integrate program strategy and operational execution across all the functional areas and work packages in delivering the program’s goals and the team’s success
- Lead and support the implementation of company-wide new processes and process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency
- Maintain and manage high performing project teams
What you have to offer.
- Successful degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or similar fields
- 3+ years of project management experience in highly cross-functional teams, managing different stakeholder level and external partners
- Excellent skills in communication, prioritization and stakeholder management
- Fast perception of new knowledge and efficient problem-solving skills with high personal commitment
- Previous working experience in a regulated Pharma/CMC environment (e.g. GMP, GCP/ GCLP) and/or mRNA-based drug development is considered a plus
- Willingness to handle complex projects across multiple departments and with collaboration partners
- Excellent English skills, written and orally (German skills are desirable but not essential)
- Ability and interest to think in business strategic perspectives is an advantage
