Project Manager* CMC (mAbs/ADCs)
As a Project Manager* in the CMC Project Management Team at BioNTech, you will be part of cross-functional project teams in a variety of CMC development/clinical stage projects focusing on our protein/antibody-drug conjugate based pipeline. You will be responsible for the coordination of complex projects and the setup of guiding structures, that enable your interdisciplinary project teams to accomplish their mission/goals at any stage.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Planning, coordination, integration, execution, monitoring, and closure of protein-based CMC oncology projects with internal teams and external CDMOs
- Integrate program strategy and operational execution across all the functional areas and work packages in delivering the program’s goals and the team’s success (scope, budget, time, quality, risk management)
- Establish and ensure efficient content and information flow between interdisciplinary teams incl. status reporting and project reviews to ensure that project goals meet company’s vision and strategy
- Lead and support the implementation of company-wide new processes and process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency
- Build, maintain, and manage high performing project teams
What you have to offer:
- Successful University degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Engineering, Life Sciences or a similar field
- Experienced in working in project management of cross-functional teams. Protein based drug development and/or oncology project experience is considered a plus
- Experienced in working in highly cross-functional teams and managing different stakeholder level and external partners
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Previous working experience in a regulated Pharma/CMC environment (e.g. GCP/ GCLP, GMP) is an advantage
- Fast perception of new knowledge and efficient problem-solving skills with high personal commitment
- Willingness to handle complex projects across multiple departments and with collaboration partners
- Ability and interest to think in business strategic perspectives is an advantage
- Excellent English skills, written and orally (German skills are also desirable but not essential)
