About the Role:


As Product Owner ERP Products for Tax and Global Trade, you lead the strategic direction and technical design of our Tax and Global Trade solutions. In this pivotal role, you will ensure cross-functional alignment, oversee implementation, and manage operations within the ERP Applications domain for Tax and Global Trade.


Your Contribution:

 

  • System Owner of the global SAP GTS system and selected tax-relevant systems and modules like SAP DRC or SAP Risk and Assurance Management
  • Product Owner for the workstream Tax and Global Trade
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams of Tax, Finance and Supply Chain as well as with external partners
  • Ensure compliance and IT controls during implementation
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and approval of functionalities
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the solutions
  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively derive IT requirements
  • Contribute to data governance, documentation, and operational readiness

 

A Good Match: 

 

  • Several years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS, including implementation and operations in an international environment.
  • Experience in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (SAP DRC) is a strong plus.
  • Experience in SAP Risk and Assurance Management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO and tax-related processes (e.g. indirect tax, direct tax, e-invoicing, statutory reporting) is a plus.
  • Experience with the implementation and integration of tax engines is a plus.
  • Proven Product Owner or project leadership experience in complex ERP or tax/trade-related projects
  • Strong project management skills: planning, prioritization, risk management and stakeholder alignment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mediate between business, IT and external partners
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high degree of ownership, reliability and quality awareness
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, international environment, balancing regulatory requirements with pragmatic, scalable solutions
