Our facility produces cancer therapies tailored to the patient. Each batch is individually manufactured for a single patient. The role of Process Engineer MST is responsible for technology transfers and the improvement and monitoring of production processes (DNA manufacturing, RNA manufacturing, lipoplex formation, fill & finish, visual inspection, labeling, and packaging). As MS&T Lead, the Process Engineer holds decision-making authority over operational technical projects. The role involves close collaboration with process development and technical development.
Your main responsibilities:
- Continuous development of existing facilities with a focus on the production process to increase product quality and process robustness. This also includes the evaluation of the use of single-use materials.
- Monitoring of system parameters and system components with direct product and process influence.
- Requirement Lead for new system developments together with process and system development departments for the pilot facility.
- Investigation and troubleshooting of system problems in collaboration with the engineering department; support for new process design and creation of risk analyses for new initiatives.
- Support for technical process issues for other teams and sharing of lessons learned.
What you have to offer:
- Completed scientific studies (biotechnology, bioengineering, bioprocess engineering, etc.)
- At least 3 years of MS&T professional experience in the regulated field.
- Background in technical plant engineering is an advantage.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
