 Material Planning Specialist*  

 

At BioNTech, the Material Planning Specialist* is responsible for ensuring material availability for personalized cancer therapies within our new pilot facility. If you are excited about shaping the future of medicine together with us, we are looking forward welcoming you as part of our team.

 

Your responsibilities are:
 
•    Setting up and implementing material planning processes to ensure full material availabilities
•    Placing orders for required raw materials and tracking orders in collaboration with the purchasing team
•    Implementing routine reports and analyses, translating them into KPIs and adjusting them based on the raw material inventory policy
•    Partnership management with the purchasing, storage, transportation, quality assurance, quality control, production, and controlling departments to ensure smooth processing of materials
•    Monitoring material availability, identifying potential material shortages, and providing solutions
 

What you have to offer:

 
•    University degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent vocational training with relevant working experience
•    Several years of experience in material planning or general experience in supply chain environment
•    Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or GxP environment is desirable, yet not necessary
•    Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und gute SAP MM Kenntnisse
•    Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work effectively within a team
•    Fluent English language skills, knowledge of German is desirable
