About the Role:
The SAP Master Data and Data Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of Master data across SAP systems. This role involves implementing data governance frameworks, monitoring data quality metrics and KPI's.
Your Contribution:
- Develop and implement data quality strategies and frameworks for SAP systems
- Monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with business units to define data quality standards and ensure compliance
- Lead data cleansing and enrichment activities to maintain high-quality data in SAP systems
- Manage data governance processes, including policies, procedures, and controls
- Work closely with IT and business teams to resolve data-related issues and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Conduct audits of data quality and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Lead and actively participate in data profiling, cleansing, and mapping processes during the migration of legacy systems to SAP
- Assume responsibility for IT system ownership, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with organizational objectives
- Engage in special data governance initiatives and cross-functional projects
A Good Match:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP Data Management, MDM, Data Quality, and Data Governance
- Practical experience with SAP Data Quality Management or comparable tools such as Syniti, Information Steward, Data Services, etc.
- Previous participation in international SAP transformation projects
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
- Highly self-driven with a strong ability to work independently
- Fluency in written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
