Manager SAP MDG/MDM

About the Role:
As Manager SAP MDG/MDM, you are responsible to design, deliver, and maintain SAP MDG solutions that enforce data governance, enhance master data quality, and ensure compliant, harmonized data across SAP and integrated non-SAP systems.
Your Contribution:
- Coordinate the design, configuration and implementation SAP MDG solutions for domains including Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance master data
- Gather and assess business requirements to define governance processes, data models and workflows and write SOPs, Change management etc.
- Develop MDG frameworks encompassing data modelling, UI, BRF+ rules, validations, derivations, and replication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as business analysts, data stewards, and developers
- Drive data quality initiatives, data migration efforts, and ongoing governance practices
- Lead and support the integration of MDG with both SAP and non-SAP systems
- Engage in special data governance initiatives and cross-functional projects, such as audits and new domain rollouts
- Provide continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the MDG environment
A Good Match:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, MDM, and Data Governance
- Proven experience with SAP MDG, Data Governance, and related data services
- Prior experience working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., the pharmaceutical industry)
- Experience contributing to international SAP transformation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Fluency in written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
