Manager Material Planning

As Manager Material Planning you will be ensuring material availability for both production and clinical trials, including locations outside of Germany. Your specific tasks include:
- Functionally leading global alignment and standardization of materials across sites
- Planning and forecasting of network specialty materials, including the autonomous implementation of a planning system
- Establishing and optimizing the procedures for the exchangeability of materials
- Responsible for the material life cycle management, including support for material onboarding, leading shelf-life extension projects and coordinating phase-out of materials
- Driving the supply base design & evaluation triggered by technical, quality, and supply criticality, as well as inventory management and control
- Aligning material supply with regulatory, quality, technical, and compliance requirements
What you have to offer:
- Successfully completed studies in Supply Chain Management or relevant training with comparable professional experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in material planning and operational procurement; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Experience with SCM planning tools required, Kinaxis Maestro highly preferred
- Experience in a GxP-regulated environment is a strong plus
- High level of responsibility, flexibility, and a conscientious and independent working style
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and strong IT skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness for a hybrid model with presence at our Mainz office
