About the Role:
As Manager Finance Business Partner Product Supply you will be a key member of our Global Product Supply (PS) Finance team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of BioNTech.
Your Contribution:
- Support preparing, consolidating, and providing commentary on forecasts and budgets for selected business units (BU). Developing management reports, analyzing variances, conducting root-cause analyses, and proposing actionable measures to optimize results.
- Acting as an operational (and strategic) sparring partner for BU management by preparing financial business cases and scenario analyses. Identifying cost and efficiency potentials, supporting their implementation, and monitoring success.
- Ensuring efficient processes and financial management related to production volumes, inventory levels, and write-offs in close collaboration with Supply Chain Management. Proactively identifying and initiating measures to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) in these areas.
- Ensuring compliance with internal corporate guidelines, IFRS/HGB regulations, tax requirements, and SOX standards, while providing expert advice on these matters.
- Managing PS CAPEX planning and reporting to ensure rigorous financial steering and providing detailed business case calculations for investment requests. Ensuring compliance with corporate investment guidelines and approval workflows.
A Good Match:
- A university degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Finance/Controlling/Accounting combined with at least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally within a production environment.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally, you have gained international experience, for example through a semester abroad or international assignments.
- Proficiency in SAP.
