About the Role:


As a Clinical Trial Manager at BioNTech, you play a critical role in advancing our mission to improve health outcomes worldwide. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operational and administrative execution of clinical trials, contributing to the development of innovative therapies. Working within a collaborative and dynamic environment, your expertise will drive forward projects that align with our ambitious goals.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors, overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance. This is an opportunity to directly impact BioNTech's success by enabling efficient trial processes that bring us closer to transformative solutions for patients.

 

Your Contribution:

 

  • Prepare regular status reports and present project updates in meetings
  • Monitor trial budgets and ensure alignment with project plans
  • Coordinate internal departments and external vendors from start-up to trial close-out
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and study-related documents such as Trial Management Plans and Monitor Manuals
  • Review core study documents like synopses, investigator brochures, and informed consent forms
  • Provide guidance to CTCs, CRAs, and CTAs within the scope of projects
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving clinical trial issues
  • Plan and oversee project training before activities commence

 

A Good Match:

 

  • Background in natural/life sciences or medical field (degree or professional experience such as Nurse or Medical Technical Assistant)
  • Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant legislation for clinical research
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical trial management, regulatory submissions, or monitoring
  • Strong written and spoken English skills; refined communication abilities
  • Proficiency in software tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills paired with a proactive approach to work
