Manager* Business Development / Due Diligence (Part-time; limited for 1 year)
BioNTech’s Business Development is looking for a new team member in part time (20h/week) limited for one year to lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary Due Diligence activities in connection with transactions.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Responsible and main contact within the Business Development department for leading and coordinating all aspects of due diligences in relation to transactions, both for in-licensing and out-licensing activities
- Coordination of internal and external data exchange, including Q&A sessions/trackers
- Moderation and scheduling of external and internal cross-functional due diligence calls
- Organization and management of BioNTech’s own data rooms and overseeing and providing access rights to data rooms of third parties
- Consolidation of the due diligence findings of the cross-functional team in reports and presentations for senior management including evaluation of the scientific and clinical data, IP andfinancial position, upstream contracts with regards to the asset or company of interest
What you have to offer.
- Scientific background, Master, PhD and/or hands-on experience with the innovative drug development process to be able to judge and challenge the content provided by the functional experts for completeness and consistency, and to organize, summarize and present topics/issues in a logical manner for senior management
- Project Management experience is a plus
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) in English with a highly collaborative mindset
- Very good research and analytical abilities to “connect the dots” among the inputs and questions from the cross-functional DD team
- Strong team player and experience with dealing with culturally diverse and international teams
- Structured way of working with the ability to multi-task in different time zones, set priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Initiative to work efficiently and effectively self-directed or with a team with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Digital proficieny in MS office, experience with project management software tools and virtual datarooms is a plus
