As Manager (m/w/d) E2E Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously optimizing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the organization. Your key focus will be on balancing demand with production capacities over a 24-month planning horizon. This includes gathering clinical and commercial product demands, collecting internal and external production site capacities and lead times, creating supply plans, identifying bottlenecks or idle capacities, and developing robust supply scenarios to proactively mitigate risks and ensure reliable supply to patients. Collaboration with stakeholders within and outside of Supply Chain Management (SCM), as well as across companies, will be critical for success. 

 

Your Contribution:

 

  • Implement, drive, and continuously develop the S&OP process including governance structures across the organization
  • Play a key role in the monthly Demand Review, Supply Review, and consolidated S&OP meetings
  • Create and coordinate supply forecasts for suppliers/CDMOs, derive supply scenarios in case of bottlenecks, and drive prioritization and decision-making through established escalation pathways
  • Support preparation of scenarios and recommendations for senior management to enable timely prioritization and decision-making
  • Act as a single point of contact within the planning team for specific products and ensure transparency on supply plans, risks, and current operational status across all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage key stakeholders across departments such as Commercial, CTSM, CMC, Product Teams, Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), and production sites to create an aligned supply plan
  • Support Tech Transfer planning as part of the S&OP process, including onboarding new CDMOs and ensuring supply readiness for launches and clinical supply
  • Drive the implementation, adoption, and continuous optimization of planning systems such as Maestro

 

A Good Match:

 

  • Proven track record in S&OP planning with a strong background in both clinical and commercial setups
  • Proficiency in planning tools such as Maestro, SAP S/4HANA, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent English skills; proficiency in German or Chinese is a plus
  • Quick comprehension paired with analytical thinking to solve complex challenges effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate efficiently with international teams, including the ability to influence decision-making in a matrix organization
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated supply chain environments
