The Head of ERP Applications CoE (all genders) is responsible for the technical architecture, development, implementation and maintenance of the BioNTech ERP system landscape. This role ensures that the ERP system is enabling the business strategy and goals, optimized for performance, security, and scalability, supporting the business needs. The role works closely with the ERP Business Lead and the ERP Project Lead to ensure an integrated solution.

 

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Translate the business and overarching Digital & IT strategy into strategic platform capabilities, including strategic roadmaps and value driven objectives 

  • Establish ERP Apps governance framework, including planning/definition, management and monitoring of budget, headcount and KPIs

  • Identify, prioritize, monitor and steer digital initiatives supported by ERP Application teams, with a focus on business impact on short time to value

  • Foster creation and establishment of digital self-services to enable operational excellence and scalability to meet evolving organizational needs

  • Maintain continuous communication to keep senior stakeholders informed and engaged with ERP initiatives 

  • Drive digital innovation and foster digital mindset and a culture of continuous learning with/along ERP Application teams

  • Asses, select and steer strategic vendors/partners to support BNT’s enterprise platform strategy and related business needs incl. definition of strategic partner agreements

 

What you have to offer:

  • Academic degree in computer science, information technology, economics or similar
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience within business and/or IT roles within Pharma, Tech, Consultancy services, thereof min. 3 years within leadership roles 
  • Proven track record and high practical expertise of working with IT service and delivery – ideally in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record in steering and execution of cross-company/cross-vendor programs/projects within multi-stakeholder environments
  • Methodological expertise and knowledge in strategy development and value driven strategy execution
  • Fluency in German and English, both oral an written
