We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to oversee internal and external GxP-compliant manufacturing operations across all modalities on five continents, ensuring alignment with clinical and commercial objectives.As Executive Director Manufacturing Network QA, you will drive strategic and tactical changes across the network, manage escalations and remediation activities, and represent Quality Assurance in critical decision-making forums. Additionally, you will lead a team of talented professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

 

Your responsibilities are: 

 

  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to ensure the GxP-compliant operation of the global manufacturing network
  • Drive site and network changes while ensuring consistent steering and reporting with a focus on overall quality health and compliance
  • Steer and guide escalation and critical remediation activities across the manufacturing network
  • Strategically lead site-specific compliance to meet the requirements of relevant regions and countries, ensuring alignment with global Standards
  • Act as the key representative for Quality Assurance in critical internal and external manufacturing decision Forums
  • Prepare thoroughly for these forums to ensure informed and impactful contributions to strategic decision-making including Quality guidance
  • Provide strong leadership to a team of Site Quality Heads and Quality Assurance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and resources needed to deliver on organizational goals and drive continuous improvement

 

What you have to offer: 

 

  • A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MSc, PhD, MBA) are highly desirable
  • Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, GxP compliance, and manufacturing operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of managing global manufacturing networks and leading large-scale strategic initiatives
  • Significant experience in steering external manufacturing networks, including managing partnerships and ensuring compliance across diverse modalities
  • Demonstrated success in preparing and executing commercial product launches from a Quality Assurance perspective
  • Familiarity with international regulatory landscapes and manufacturing operations across key regions, including China, Singapore, Europe, and the USA
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams across diverse regions and modalities, including direct disciplinary team management
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage escalations and drive effective remediation strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including external partners
