Engineer* System Architect SCM & Data 

 

You are responsible for the technical architecture and design of digital solutions for the SCM & Data area for BioNTech. You will take over the governance of overall system architecture for the functional teams.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Support technical architecture planning based on BioNTech SCM strategy and the requirements of Global Process Owners

  • Modelling of a architectural landscapes for SCM & Data ensuring the implementation in running projects

  • Acts as technical / content lead for SCM & Data projects, scouts new technologies and drives the implementation of new technologies into the run organization

  • Following the Enterprise Architecture models in close alignment with the Process & Architecture team, further development of Enterprise Architecture and documentation, maintenance

 

What you have to offer:

 

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business administration, Computer science, Engineering, biological or chemical sciences or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical environment

  • Good knowledge of systems architecture concepts 

  • Good knowledge of pharma and biotechnology processes

  • Practical knowledge of cloud and data technologies (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Terraform, Python, Containers) 

  • Strong communication skills in German and English
