Director* Lifecycle Management 

 

As Director* Lifecycle Management, you are responsible for leading life cycle management activities for projects/products including triggering and monitoring of initiatives related to the project/product (e.g. establish COGS roadmaps and product supply strategy, define CMC team collaboration during commercial life cycle...). 


Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Drive strategic decisions and present project proposals to senior management (e.g. board members, board meetings...)
  • Lead international Product teams with up to 20 members
  • Lead Product Supply Lifecycle Management activities for 2-3 projects/products including product supply strategy (propose product allocations)
  • Lead and drive product supply launch activities to enable day 1 launch supplies
  • Coordinate projects & activities that have direct impact on product margin (e.g. establish TPC roadmap) and product supply of respective projects/products.
  • Identify, articulate and report key risks and opportunities, drive risk mitigation plans and escalation to management (e.g. management board)
  • Act as first point of contact for product supply and LCM activities within BioNTech and/or with partners as applicable

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and visionary individual, ideally with the following characteristics:

 

•    Business degree (Master/Diploma), preferably in biology, chemistry, physics, Life Sciences or business administration 
•    At least 5+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries within quality, production, supply chain, project management or other functions 
•    Proven experience in the management of technical projects or collaborations in the pharmaceutical industry 
•    Experience to develop strategic plans in support of organizational goals and strategic initiatives
•    Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others internally and externally
•    Ability to communicate clear and target-oriented with internal stakeholders 
•    Strong analytical and organizational skills 
•    Ability to effectively work and lead cross-functional, international teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•    Fine combination of strategic and operational/hands-on ability 
•    Highly motivated, flexible, creative and well-organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Entrepreneurial and intercultural mindset with strong project management skills 
•    Ability to work effectively in a highly agile and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
•    Highly proficient in spoken and written English and German
