As Director Global Learning you are responsible for shaping and managing our global learning environment in close collaboration with content experts and functional academies across the company.
This role will set the course for employee’s learning experiences and ensure their skill development needs are addressed through a blend of effective learning solutions.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Develop and manage a global learning strategy and roadmap, including setting goals, establishing metrics, tracking progress against key performance indicators
- Develop and own a global learning & training governance and operating model in close alignment to the overall business strategy and skill needs
- Design and implement a global learning technology ecosystem in collaboration with HRIS, including a corporate learning system landscape with associated process and system standards. This includes management of learning solution vendors and budget
- Further develop and engage our global learning community as learning content experts/curators and/or functional academies within the business
- Work closely with the learning community to build a global learning culture as well as foster seamless learning experience for employees
- Collaborate to design and manage targeted upskilling and reskilling initiatives to support internal career movement
- Collaborate within HR/Talent and the functional academies to develop and implement a companywide competency/skills framework and integrate it in our learning offering
- Support to design and implement companywide (global & cross-functional) learning & training offerings in collaboration with core functions and functional academies
- Test and integrate learning & training analytics to measure the learning impact
- Partner with core functions and teams to analyze the learning & training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of companywide learning activities
- Test and integrate innovative and cost-efficient learning & training solutions, leverage market insights and stakeholder feedback
- Work closely with other HR, Workforce Management and business stakeholders to ensure all learning programs (academies) and initiatives are connected, and contribute to an integrated end-user experience
What you have to offer:
- 10+ years experience in leading learning organizations/solutions from strategy, implementation planning and execution including several years in leadership roles
- Excellent understanding of the learning cycle phases, from gathering requirements and planning, designing and procuring learning experiences, delivering experiences and learning products, through evaluating effectiveness and impact
- Strong knowledge in areas of learning strategy, skills models and their practical application and industry leading learning platforms, technologies and tools
- You are technology-savvy and can design learning solutions at scale
- Strong collaboration skills, including ability influence across the organization, to manage partners, and to ensure a strong user experience
- Solid experience with transformation programs and leading skilling programs as required
- Excellent at problem-solving and strategic/conceptual thinking paired with hand-on/operational ability
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to articulate concepts, ideas, and processes
- You are business fluent in English and German
