Director GMP Production (m/w/d)

Bei BioNTech spielst du eine zentrale Rolle bei der Leitung und Produktion der individualisierten Krebstherapien unter Berücksichtigung der regulatorischen Voraussetzungen der Arzneimittelherstellung, GMP-Herstellung gemäß § 12 und § 13 der AMWHV. Die Position umfasst sowohl die Produktion für klinische Prüfungen als auch für die Marktversorgung an verschiedenen Standorten.

Deine Aufgaben im Einzelnen sind:

  • Sicherstellung der spezifikations- und termingerechten Herstellung von individuellen mRNA-Produkten als LdH gemäß AMG und AMWHV. Verantwortlich für die Aufrechterhaltung eines qualifizierten und validierten Zustands von Personal, Räumlichkeiten, Anlagen und Prozessen.
  • Kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Qualitätsaspekte des Herstellungsbereichs (Compliance) sowie der Effizienz der Herstellprozesse.
  • Verantwortung für die Erstellung und Einhaltung des Budgets, Sicherstellung von Sicherheitsaspekten, Leistungs- und Qualitätskennzahlen sowie der Entwicklung und Führung des Personals.
  • Unterstützung der Weiterentwicklung von Produktionstechnologien und deren Implementierung im GMP-Produktionsbereich. Leitung des Technologietransfers für neue klinische Programme.
  • Entwicklung von Strategien zur Bewältigung aktueller und zukünftiger Herausforderungen innerhalb der Produktion und zur Erreichung der Unternehmensziele.

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Pharmazie, Biotechnologie, Chemieingenieurwesen oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
  • 10 Jahre+ Erfahrung in der Leitung von GMP-Herstellungsprozessen im pharmazeutischen oder biotechnologischen Umfeld.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse der gesetzlichen Anforderungen gemäß AMG und AMWHV.
  • Ausgeprägte Führungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung in der Personalentwicklung.
  • Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungsfähigkeiten.
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit Budgetmanagement und Prozessoptimierung
  • Hohe Affinität zu digitalen und innovativen Technologien und technischen Systemen, gepaart mit Projekterfahrung in der Verbesserung von Produktionsprozessen
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift)
  • Kreativer Umgang mit sich ändernden Situationen, Kooperationsbereitschaft, Teamfähigkeit und Durchsetzungsvermögen
