Director* Corporate & Financial Communications 

 

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Partner with Investor Relations (IR), Finance, business segments and other relevant departments to drive and execute cross-functional, integrated media communications strategies for quarterly earnings, financial reporting, M&A announcements and other key financial events
  • Lead strategic communications counsel and support to senior leadership on communication, positioning and framing of the company's business and financial results, with a focus on business critical topics and issues
  • Drive the communication of CFO and other SVPs/VPs to create, execute and implement activities related to corporate communications, including media relations, thought leadership, content development and digital/visual campaigns to help BioNTech achieve its corproate goals and deliver on its vision
  • Champion junior staff on multiple tasks and help in their ongoing development
  • Developing strong relationships with journalists and other critical stakeholders.

 

What you have to offer:

  • Pharma experience is essential
  • College degree, ideally in economics, sciences, or communications, along with relevant professional experience in the sector or in a comparable position in corporate communications
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in a global or public company setting or communications consultancy, focused on corporate and financial communications
  • Proficiency absorbing, digesting, and distilling highly technical subject matter as well as data- and technology-driven input into clear and concise content
  • Topic-centered communication work in interdisciplinary teams with a focus on driving initiatives and topics on an equal footing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and project management skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines with high quality standards
  • Collaborative partner able to build trusted relationships internally and externally
  • Business fluent English and German round out your profile
