The Contract Life Cycle Management Process Owner within Finance is responsible for setting up, leading, and optimizing the contract life cycle management processes across the organization. This role is crucial to ensuring that all financial contracts are efficiently managed, comply with regulatory standards, and align with the strategic objectives of the company. The Process Owner will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, improve workflows, and drive continuous improvements.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Process Design and Optimization
- Orchestrate the design of a best-in-class, scalable, and efficient CLCM process that incorporates global standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices, following BPEX standards
- Lead global initiatives to harmonize and standardize CLCM processes across regions and business units, eliminating redundancies and inefficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize process performance, following the BPEX standards
- Oversee the integration of digital solutions to ensure seamless E2E data flow, enhance data visibility, supplier collaboration, and process automation, aligned with our process-data-system strategy
- Ensure that all CLCM -related technology initiatives support the overall process, data and systems strategy
Global Standardization & Governance
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the CLCM process to align with the business objectives, standards and overall corporate strategy
- Establish and maintain a global CLCM governance framework, ensuring consistent standards, policies, and procedures across regions and functions. Act as project lead for the CLCM processes and work closely with relevant stakeholder to implement the E2E process. Stop or prioritize process projects related to the CLCM process & align on fct. resource allocation
- Be responsible for overall E2E process budget, including financial plans, and resources, as well as anticipate future financial needs. Drive budget alignment with respective functions
Stakeholder Engagement
- Be part of relevant Leadership Teams and Governance Bodies and act as central point of contact for business, functions and Process Owner for dependent processes, whose scenarios include the CLCM process
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, and regional leaders, to ensure effective implementation of a process and continuous improvements
- Act as key point of contact for SCALE and other programs and support the programs if needed
- Act as the key point of contact for regional process manager and process experts, ensuring their needs and insights are incorporated into global initiatives
- Establish clear communication channels amongst the key stakeholders to inform on status of implementation, improvements and changes to the global E2E CLCM process and ongoing initiatives
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, user experience and compliance of the CLCM process and ultimately data quality
- Ensure the E2E process complies with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. Make sure CLCM process relevant policies are aligned across functions. Use veto right to influence final policy decisions
- Partner with internal and external audit teams to ensure process and system compliance with policies and standards
- Partner with risk management teams to identify and mitigate risks related to the CLCM process
What you have to offer:
- Completed Master of Laws (LL.M.) or bar exam in Law; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, Legal, Finance or Procurement; previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and contract law
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with contract management software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across global teams

- Process Governance and Compliance: Understanding of global regulatory requirements and governance structures to maintain consistent processes that comply with international regulations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
- Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (GxP), IFRS, SOX
