Associate Director* Portfolio Management
As an Associate Director* Portfolio Management you play a vital role in advancing the portfolio of individualized cancer vaccines towards market readiness within a pharmaceutical company. Support the portfolio management team and lead by contributing to the development of the portfolio strategy, managing key administrative and strategic tasks such as team and meeting coordination, strategy review, KPI management, and tracking of goals and objectives. Take on the responsibility of independently overseeing smaller projects, ensuring that each cancer vaccine progresses efficiently through the pipeline to ultimately enhance patient care and outcomes.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Support the formulation and implementation of strategic plans for the cancer vaccine portfolio, aligning project objectives with overall business goals to navigate the products through clinical development to market
- Oversee organizational and financial aspects, including budget tracking, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and drive the portfolio's performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation
- Provide comprehensive support in portfolio management through effective team alignment, meeting organization, facilitating and documentation of decision-making and ensure alignment across teams
- Independently lead and manage smaller, critical projects within the portfolio, ensuring they align with the broader strategy and contribute to the portfolio's success through meticulous planning, execution, and monitoring
What you have to offer.
- Several years of industry and/or management consulting experience (e.g., Senior Associate, Senior Consultant or equivalent), with a focus on leading complex, cross-functional drug development or commercial projects in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Preferably Science-based university degree (MSc); PhD/MD/MBA qualification is a plus
- Preferably therapeutic knowledge in the area of (immuno-)oncology
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively
- Great communication skills as well as an ability to build sustainable relationships
- Process oriented, yet flexible. Able to create and drive process while also recognizing when flexibility is needed
