Associate Director* Global Corporate Culture Programs 

 

After a phase of unprecedented growth, BioNTech aims to sustain its culture of community, passion and innovation. BioNTech has a dedicated unit for culture work, a cross-functional project team collaborating with internal and external Subject Matter Experts, and a company-wide network of ambassadors. Our culture work is rooted in evidence-based social science research and co-creation. It creates and delivers approaches, products, and processes for BioNTech. The next phase of our culture work entails structuring the program components for ideation, creation and delivery of all planned activities. In addition, the departments’ interfaces to core and enabling functions of BioNTech will be defined and set up. The Associate Director Corporate Culture Programs will deliver programs and service offerings to our BioNTech leaders and employees, supporting the functional units and sites of BioNTech in their teambuilding and transformation efforts. You will ideate and design new offerings based on co-creation with our teams and organizational listening. This job is for you if you want to bring in your hands-on expertise in culture work to support BioNTech grow and evolve.

 

 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • You co-create culture programs & culture program elements with our organization, incl. our leaders, our ambassador networks, HR and comms, incl. supporting others that want to engage
  • You recommend and give guidance to leaders and teams in navigating teambuilding, transformation and change, and connect to the major existing transformation programs to analyse needs for global culture initiatives
  • You deliver workshop formats for team building and transformation in virtual, hybrid and f2f settings to support the organization & to test and pilot our approaches
  • You align with results from our organizational listening, adapt processes to scale for the organization, drive continuous improvement

 

 What you have to offer:

 

  • You have 8+ years in supporting growing organisations on the people & culture side with teambuilding, change transformation and organsiational development, with a background e.g. in Change Management, Internal Consulting, People & Culture
  • You have 5+ years of experience in actively supporting teams in navigating change & transformation in a leading role, either as functional leader, coordinating HR or business transformation programs, or guiding change management in a consulting role
  • You have a solid background of working with groups, with an education and demonstrated experience in training, moderation, agile coaching, systemic coaching or systemic organizational counseling or mediation.
  • You are an experienced communicator, and can explain complex issues to leaders and our people alike.
  • You have a good understanding of organizational maturity both in a start-up environment and in mature organisations, can interface with many stakeholders and understand their needs, and be effective in supporting an effective E2E solution.
  • You have a hands-on mentality, creating programs from scratch & securing delivery incl. working with external providers
  • You are a team player– actively recommending, co-creating & re-designing with the Culture Campus team and others with a focus on finding synergies
  • You are comfortable working and supporting others to work with complexity & ambiguity (typical of a start-up or grass roots environment)
  • Working proficiency in German and English
