Associate Director* Global Corporate Culture Organisational Feedback & Insights

BioNTech has a dedicated unit for culture work, a cross-functional project team collaborating with internal and external Subject Matter Experts, and a company-wide network of ambassadors. Our culture work is rooted in evidence-based social science research and co-creation. It creates and delivers approaches, products, and processes for BioNTech. BioNTech focusses culture work on what matters – and helping the organization finding out what matters most will be your task. This position is for you, if you want to support the Culture Campus with organisational analytics and drive culture work by insights.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive listening strategy to collect and analyze employee feedback for our culture initiatives (e.g. sentiment, culture risks, target culture) 
  • You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and follow-up of employee pulse surveys and focus groups for our culture initiatives, and for global alignment on follow-ups from other regular surveys 
  • You will analyze results and derive recommendations for action with the Culture Campus team to inform our Culture Work, and to inform other stakeholders on relevant trends, gaps and issues  
  • With your experience in creating insights strategies and execution, and your skills in dashboard implementation, you will support other departments in a matrix role 
  • You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of listening tools and processes for our culture initiatives 

 

What you have to offer:

 

  • 8+ years of insights strategies incl. execution (e.g. survey design, focus group design, operations, analysis), focusing on culture (awareness, attitude, behavior) change and employee engagement.  
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management for market research, comms & campaign evaluation, organisational analytics projects or insights-driven consulting
  • You have experience in moderating small and large groups
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have a proven track record of delivering reporting and analytics with SAP/Qualtrics, PowerBI and other business-relevant tools
  • You have excellent communication skills with data & IT specialists, business experts and leaders alike, and are able to present complex issues in an understandable way
  • You balance attention to detail to successfully plan, oversee and execute insights with your ability to guide external providers of data & IT solutions and internal colleagues
  • You are a team player and have a hands-on mentality – actively recommending, co-creating & re-designing insights strategies that are results-oriented
  • You will work closely with colleagues from other enabling functions (HR, Communications) and have an understanding of their role and priorities
  • You are comfortable working and supporting others to work with complexity & ambiguity (typical of a start-up or grass roots environment)
  • You have successfully completed a Master Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Business & Economics (HR, Market Research) with a focus on working with quantitative and qualitative data
  • Working proficiency in German and English
