As Associate Director Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) you will lead a team of specialists to develop CE-based assays for release and characterization analytics of mainly RNA-based pharmaceuticals. You will coordinate, plan, and communicate development work packages and timelines to support clinical projects. You will be responsible for development of comprehensive strategies and concepts in the field of capillary electrophoresis. As team leader, you will be also responsible for further development and expansion of the team.
Your main responsibilities are:

Independent coordination of scientific projects and planning of necessary activities for project progress of CE methods development. Reporting of progress to the unit, department, project partners, internally and externally

Development of overarching analytical strategies and concepts for the characterization of mainly nucleic acids by CE and contribution of innovative ideas for further development of existing projects

Technical contact person for CE for the unit, other departments/subsidiaries and external parties by supporting e.g. technology transfer to quality control units including corresponding documentation or method trouble shooting

Management and coordination of the CE team. Establishment of new processes and implementation within the team and beyond
What you have to offer:

Preferably a PhD in Chemistry, Biopharmaceuticals, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Biology or a related field with at least 3-5 years of work experience

Hands-on experience in analytical method development with capillary electrophoresis, preferably with nucleic acids as analytes

Relevant work experience in pharmaceutical industry and first experience with team leadership

Experience in working with proteins, ADC, and lipids are a plus
-
Very good knowledge of German and English
