The Global Commercial Analysis and Insights group is looking for an experienced individual to join the team in our endeavor to support successful new product launches in oncology for the benefit of patients. You will join a striving-to-be-best-in-industry and growing commercial insights team that is supporting multiple upcoming oncology and infectious disease launches in the next few years. We support the rest of the organization with our insights so that we can reach as many patients in need as possible. Our team is looking for a highly motivated individual with a ‘let’s do it!’ attitude who will lead commercial potential assessments of pipeline pharmaceutical lead compounds in oncology.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Lead revenue and patient forecast based commercial assessments across multiple oncology indications, generate key commercial insights, and support global primary market research projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to leverage internal knowledge and align hypotheses and outputs
- Effectively communicate commercial assessments, insights and outputs to senior management to support decision making
What you have to offer:
- A minimum of 7 years in the pharma industry, with new product launch experience in oncology at global level
- A Science (M.Sc) background is highly preferred. An MBA, consulting experience will be advantageous
- In-depth experience in detailed epidemiology-based product revenue forecast modelling in oncology, combined with outstanding skills in communicating the insights based story that the forecast tells
- Highly experienced in generating robust forecast assumptions triangulating multiple sources (market research, analogues, syndicated data, RWD)
- Experience executing primary market research with physicians or patients is desirable
- Strong ability to work with numbers, see the big picture, and influence others
- Great attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple different indications and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding MS Excel/PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, ability to create strong relationships to consistently align assumptions and outputs with all key stakeholders
