About the Role:
As Associate Director Clinical Trials, you will oversee the operational and administrative execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with local laws, international guidelines (ICH GCP), and internal SOPs. Your work will drive the success of national and international projects, collaborating across departments and managing third-party providers to deliver results in a timely manner.
Your Contribution:
- Lead one or more complex clinical trials within early or late-stage development to ensure successful program delivery
- Drive communication strategies, escalate issues effectively, and support team development across the program
- Manage Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and vendors to meet clinical program deliverables
- Oversee clinical study timelines to achieve project milestones efficiently
- Ensure inspection readiness throughout the lifecycle of clinical programs
A Good Match:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industries, including 6 years leading global clinical development teams
- Proven expertise in oncology and/or infectious diseases; registrational trial experience is an advantage
- Deep knowledge of legislation and international guidelines (ICH-GCP/CFR) for clinical research projects
- Strong communication skills with confident presentation abilities—both written and spoken
- Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, eTMF, IWRS, EDC, etc., with experience developing presentation materials
- High-level problem-solving skills to proactively identify risks and create mitigation strategies
- PMP or equivalent certification is desirable
