(Associate) Director Business Process Owner Source-to-Pay (S2P) Sub-Processes

The (Associate) Director Source-to-Pay (S2P) Sub-Processes Owner will take ownership of specific sub-processes within the S2P framework (e.g., Plan-to-Strategy (P2S), Source-to-Contract (S2C) and supplier management) to drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and compliance across the organization. This role will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the global end-to-end (E2E) Source-to-Pay process. 
The (Associate) Director will work closely with the Global Process Owner S2P to define and execute the S2P strategy, while also collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, regional teams, and governance bodies to ensure alignment, standardization, and continuous improvement of the S2P process. This role will have decision-making authority for assigned sub-processes and will act as a key driver of transformation and change management initiatives.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Take ownership of assigned sub-processes within the S2P framework, ensuring alignment with global standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals while driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to standardize processes and lead the integration of digital solutions and automation for improved data visibility, supplier collaboration, and operational performance
  • Support the Global Process Owner S2P in defining the vision, strategy, and governance framework for the global S2P process, with specific responsibility for assigned sub-processes
  • Lead governance meetings, collaborate on policy design, and serve as a key decision-maker to ensure alignment with global standards, priorities, and budgets
  • Act as a key liaison between regional process managers, cross-functional teams, and leadership, ensuring stakeholder needs are incorporated into global initiatives and process improvements
  • Build strong relationships with 20-30 internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, secure buy-in, and represent sub-processes in leadership forums and governance bodies
  • Define and monitor KPIs and metrics for assigned sub-processes to measure performance, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights
  • Leverage analytics to ensure data quality, identify optimization opportunities, and prepare impactful reports and dashboards to communicate progress and insights to senior leadership
     

What you have to offer:

 

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field, MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience ideally in procurement or related field within a large-scale, multinational environment, ideally in listed companies
  • Previous experience in similar role is highly preferred, knowledgeable in direct and indirect procurement
  • Proven ability to lead and influence in a matrixed, global environment, managing cross-regional and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and ensure adherence to process standards
  • Strategic mindset with expertise in defining long-term visions, driving transformational change, and aligning global processes with organizational goals while anticipating challenges in diverse markets
  • Strong skills in leveraging data analytics, KPIs, and a LEAN mindset to monitor global process performance, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvements
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders across diverse teams, cultures, and senior leadership levels
  • In-depth knowledge of process governance, compliance with global regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, IFRS, SOX), and familiarity with ERP systems and procurement platforms like SAP, Oracle, Ariba, and Coupa
