Associate* HVAC Systems 

 

Engineering, Maintenance & Site Operations department is mandated to oversee the execution of local preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, clean & black utilities, laboratory equipment and facilities at the mRNA-based vaccine manufacturing site. Also, it handles projects, equipment/systems commissioning & qualification, process automation, and calibration in line with cGxP principles.

 

The Associate HVAC Systems role is responsible for HVAC systems operation, maintenance, and repair at site. The role will participate in various other tasks that include carrying out mechanical & electrical installations, planning, equipment modification, HVAC systems qualification and validation at site.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Implement Planned Maintenance programs for HVAC systems including but not limited to AHUs, air cooled water chillers, water circulation pumps, air distribution ducts, pipework, instrumentation among other equipment in line with maintenance plans.
  • Operate HVAC systems in all areas at site.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical installations, commissioning, and qualification of HVAC systems at site.
  • Carry out break down analysis and RCA related to HVAC systems.
  • Promptly attend to breakdowns as required.
  • Calibrate and maintain HVAC systems instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Submit daily reports pertaining to the HVAC system diagnostics and related faults.
  • Maintain operation and maintenance logs for all HVAC system equipment in line with GMP guidelines.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

 

What you have to offer:

 

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering majoring in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in HVAC (Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning system) in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or FMCG Industry.
  • Deep knowledge in Mechanical and Refrigeration systems.
  • Deep Understanding about VCRS (Vapor compression refrigeration system) & VARS (Vapor Absorption refrigeration System)  
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements, methodologies, concepts, and requirements related to HVAC System.
  • Programming and configuration of process controller and PID logic
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of calibration of various measuring and control instruments related to HVAC.
  • Good knowledge on Air Filtration System.
  • Experience in optimizing refrigeration systems for energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Good knowledge in DCS systems and Siemens PCS 7.
  • Deep understanding of electrical drawings and P&IDs.
  • Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft office tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • The ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information.
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions.
  • Ability to act calmly under stress and strain.
  • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work related problems.
  • Fluent in English Language, written and verbal.
