Soft Service Specialist- Site Ops 

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist in supervision of Janitorial services to ensure general facility are maintained in optimum conditions.
  • Help to ensure clean rooms and general facility are maintained in optimum conditions and in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Support reusable gowning services for clean rooms and laboratories.
  • Escort vendors providing services to our site.
  • Provide needed support to make sure soft service vendors comply with the services to support routine upkeep of building and grounds tasks in our facilities.
  • Take part of space planning program duties, setting up furniture, physical moves, exterior/interior signage as it relates to maintenance, replacements, and additions.
  • Aid in the management of service ticket system for general operations on our site and customer service.
  • Able to perform work orders on Building Management System.
  • Complete routine preventive maintenance of company assets assigned.
  • Support various department activities regarding coordination and set up of routine and nonroutine events at our Clinical Manufacturing, Product development and research sites.
  • Assist in maintaining office and break room consumables services provided to our site, as well as kitchen accessories and equipment (e.g. coffee machines, water dispensers).
  • Maintain a safe work environment; work in a safe manner following all safety SOP’s and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 2-3 years experience of facilities and maintenance operations experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Microsoft Office application experience: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and professional maturity to understand priorities and anticipate needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate and cooperate with different groups.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Must have a positive “can do” attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment.

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibilities.
  • Experience working on cross functional teams to obtain project deliverables.
  • High energy level and a positive outlook coupled with the requisite “can do” attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to achieve personal and organizational goals and overcome obstacles.
  • Willingness to think outside of the box and adapt best practices to our growing environment.
