Senior Research Associate, Analytical Development-Flow Cytometry 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform flow cytometry-based methods and maintain flow cytometry instruments.
  • Phase Appropriate development of cGMP release & stability methods to transfer to the Quality Control division for clinical manufacturing.
  • Support process development testing.
  • Preparation and characterization of cellular controls.
  • Draft SOPs and technical reports. Ability to communicate data in the form of presentations.
  • Maintain a high standard of experimentation and record keeping.
  • Position is laboratory-based, requires working independently and in a team environment to deliver against timelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS or MS in a biotechnology related field (biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, biology) with 3-5 years of experience in a GMP regulated industry setting.
  • Experience designing and performing multicolor flow cytometry with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of ICH guidelines required for phase appropriate method development.   
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for document writing and data presentations.
  • Experience working within CMC and tech transfer (e.g. analytical development and/or QC) for cell therapy products. 

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) software is a plus.    
  • Positive can-do attitude, desire to learn and grow capabilities.    
  • Ability to rapidly adjust to changing priorities and timelines, learn new skills and stretch abilities.
