Senior Vice President Global Market Access 

 

In this newly created role, the ideal candidate will execute global commercial plans developed in conjunction with the global marketing group. in the US.

 

 

You will be responsible for designing and building a team to support launches including brand lead, Pricing, Market Access and Reimbursement (PMA) and competitive analysis/revenue forecasting, medical affairs (dotted line), MSLs, finance, public affairs, product communications, digital and other aspects of market access globally for BioNTech. 

Dive sales at launch through early access, national and local guideline inclusion and reimbursement; maintain competitive advantage through use of all appropriate commercial tools available.

Where BioNTech has co-commercialization or co-promotion rights ensure consistency and alignment with partner, in execution in the USA

Plan and drive budget requirements, manage P&L to agreed budget.  and ensure monitoring and tracking accordingly.

Build relationships with all key external stakeholders to support development of the business.

Drive launch preparedness and launch readiness.

 

Requirements

 

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 18 years in market access, or comparable roles with experience with launch readiness in multiple markets.

Proven experience in managed markets/market access marketing within the pharmaceutical industry with direct managed care experience.

Good ability to motivate and inspire colleagues within a matrix structure, and work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change.

Solid commercial understanding of the multiple countries health systems and regulations.

Proven and demonstrated leadership/communication skills.

Good ability to manage sensitive partnerships, strong influencing and stakeholder partnering skills coupled with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Willingness to travel.

 

 

Preferred requirements: Advanced degree (MHA, MPH, MBA)
