Job Summary
JPT Peptide Technologies Inc. is looking to hire a Western US Technical Sales Account Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area. JPT Peptide Technologies Inc. is a DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certified subsidiary of BioNTech SE and the leading quality provider of peptide based tools and services for applications in immunotherapy, drug development, vaccine development, infectious disease research, target discovery and proteomics. The Western US Technical Sales Account Manager will be responsible for sales and support of a mature catalog offering, development of custom projects to an established customer base as well as the expansion of this base into academic and industry (biotech and pharma) interests.
Responsibilities
- Increase revenue in specific territory
- Field and scientific and product support
- Respond to general mailbox inquiries
- Available for telephone inquiries during business hours
- Responsible for data entry in customer database
- Attend trade shows with US team throughout the year
Requirements
- Degree in a Laboratory Science (Chemistry/Biological Science/Immunology)
- Experience in direct customer contact preferred
- Travel required, up to 50% field visits
- Skilled in general database management and MS365
- Detail oriented and process driven
- Valid passport required (over time, international travel is required)
