Vice President, Head of Marketing

 

What you have to offer. 

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the US biotech market, including regulatory landscape, reimbursement environment and healthcare system dynamics, to drive successful commercialization strategies

  • Deep understanding of oncology market in the US, with a specific expertise in targeted therapies and complex platforms, to effectively lead marketing efforts

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of executive disease leads, providing strategic guidance, coaching and support to drive performance and business objectives

  •  Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, segmentation and channel strategy, to maximize market penetration and revenue growth

  • Prioritize, develop, and implement market development tactics that drive knowledge and awareness of unmet needs among customers and contribute to a successful product launch.

  • Leverage deep understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders, to inform the go to market approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance.

  • Continually monitor and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into marketing plans

  • Partner closely and provide strategic direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Insights & Analytics, R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, finance, and Medical Affairs) for the development and implementation of strategic and executional plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with at least 15 plus years of progressive US experience in executive level marketing roles in a biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical company

  • Successful history of developing and executing marketing strategy

  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate strategic vision, objectives and priorities to internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in building and developing high performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

  • Thorough understanding of US regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the marketing of biotech products, ensuring adherence to FDA guidelines and approvals

  • Proficiency in leveraging market analytics, customer insights, and performance metrics to inform strategic decision making and optimize marketing investments for maximum impact

  • Strong leadership, with the ability to work well cross-functionally and influence across an organization at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines.

  • Preferred Qualifications: MBA with Launch and customer-facing experience. Experience with targeted oncology product experience strongly preferred. Experience in a smaller, rapidly growing, company.
