Manager* Sales Data Analytics 

 

As Sales Data Analytics Manager*, you will be a key member of the commercial team and important interface between Digital, Marketing, Sales, and Service-Teams to provide excellent customer experience in a highly dynamic environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing team with insights and advice through high quality analytics across all analog and digital sales channels. This includes all comprehensive projects with the goal to maximize and optimize sales investments. This function reports to the Associate Director of Sales Force Effectiveness.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Thrive within fast-moving market conditions and ensure transparent and effective communication as well as expectation management across various internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct independent analyses using existing Power BI Tools to drive sales force effectiveness & support the development of advanced sales strategies
  • Concept, conduct, manage and improve internal sales & sales force related analytic tools & suites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our data scientists to expand sales data analytics via data science and machine learning projects
  • Maintain, manage and optimize sales databases ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist in the development of data-driven, well-orchestrated, and personalized communications with HCPs through a good working knowledge of all relevant data sources
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on data-driven decision making processes
  • Accountable for cross functional initiatives, especially across Digital, Marketing, Sales and Service-Teams
  • Ensure the achievement of defined project goals in agreed timelines, including risk mitigation plans and scenario planning.

 

What you have to offer.

 

  • MBA or similar degree in the field of economics, computer science, engineering, natural science
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in sales force effectiveness or a comparable position with analytical focus, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Exceptional analytical, technical and organizational skills combined with strong collaboration, team- and alignment-building skills
  • Desire to design solutions in the domain of data analytics
  • Proven visualization and storytelling capabilities using Tableau or similar visualization & analytics tools such as Power Bi, Qlik-Sense
  • Excellent programming skills (e.g. Python, SQL, R, SAS, …) and knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning
  • Ambition and endurance to work under significant pressure as well as ambitions to grow in/with the organization
  • High resilience, superior endurance with engaging personality to work in a cross-functional team without disciplinary management
  • Vaccines or immunotherapy knowledge as well as experience in launching products internationally or nationally is a plus
  • Experience with commercial targeting, segmentation exercises and extensive experience working with Salesforce is a plus
  • Experience working with account data of IQVIA or other CRMs is a plus
  • Fluency in German and English
