Director Sales Network Management

We are looking for a seasoned commercial leader responsible for maximizing the performance of BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine portfolio in Germany through strategic sales management, multichannel engagement, and data-driven decision-making. In this role you will lead regional senior managers, overseeing sales and network management across all regions, while driving outreach to healthcare professionals and optimizing collaboration with Key Account Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, and external partners.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Manage and guide a team of senior managers overseeing regional sales (south, west, north, east)
- Sales Strategy: Maximize our COVID vaccine performance in Germany amidst competitive market dynamics and shifting customer demand
- Product Promotion: Drive awareness and adoption of BioNTech products among healthcare providers
- Market Insights & Strategy: Develop sales and multichannel strategies for vaccination seasons, aligning with company goals and collaborating with internal teams
- Key Account Support: Identify and engage high-potential healthcare professionals; collaborate with Key Account Managers and MSLs to strengthen networks.
- Education Programs and Event Management: Design and execute training initiatives for medical professionals and pharmacies, partnering with external sales teams and organize and oversee regional events and sponsorships
- Sales Accountability: Ensure national sales performance meets targets while adhering to compliance standards
- External Partner Management: Source, contract, and oversee external partners and pharmacy coverage through iReps
- Campaign Coordination: Prepare for seasonal sales pushes, support field teams during peak periods, and deliver post-season analyses for improvement

- Track record of driving regional performance, achieving vaccination quotas, and revenue growth
- Proficiency in territory management, omnichannel execution, and collaboration with MSLs and KAMs
- Experience in training initiatives and engaging top vaccine champions
